KplT Hubertus Dilz approaches the office door and knocks.
**knock knock knock**
"Enter" barks Konteadmiral Furst.
Hubertus enters the Konteradmiral's office. Good morning sir, I would like to request to take the Seehexe to the Spanish Coast, the tropical weather would be a nice Christmas present to my men."

23 October 1939, late morning
“Enter,” Furst calls at the door after hearing the knock, irritated at the interruption. Looking up from the file on his desk, he sees his orderly standing there.
“There is a Baron von Rothenburg to see you, Herr Admiral.”
Not only is he being interrupted, but by a civilian no less. Still, Konteradmiral Arnaud Furst recognizes the name. Baron Otto von Rothenburg is a major victualer for the Kriegsmarine as well as an influential Nazi Party member in Wilhelmshaven. As such, the man has influence at Naval HQ. Furst closes the file and with an air of resignation tells his orderly, “Very well. Send him in.”
“The Konteradmiral will see you now, Baron,” the orderly says into the outer office, then steps out o the door to allow the visitor to pass.
A portly bald man enters Furst’s office. He appears to be in his fifties, his expensive suit unadorned but for a Party pin in the lapel. He also appears to be a bit nervous. The orderly closes the door behind the Baron as he withdraws.
“How may the Kriegsmarine be of service?” Furst asks in a flat tone, not bothering to rise from his chair.
Rothenburg speaks haltingly, as though uncomfortable with what he is saying. “My son…Derk…will be graduating from the Naval Academy the end of November. My wife would like…to have the boy close to home. If…you could find a position…on your staff…put in a request…your cooperation would not be forgotten.”

Baron, the Kriegsmarine, puts their sailors into locations where they will do the most good. But I will see what I can do, I believe I might have an administration position available.

Rothenburg appears relieved. “Thank you, Herr Admiral. My wife will be pleased, and I will be most grateful. Now, Knowing that we are both busy men, I won’t take up any more of your time.” The Baron holds out his hand, awkwardly dropping it when Furst does not rise to take it or see him out. “Yes, well…” the Baron mumbles, turning and taking his leave of the Konteradmiral.

I like your spirit, and the desire to get the R'an into the middle of a hot spot is commendable. We shall see what is best for the Kreigsmarine and I will let you know.
