2 June 1941, 15th U-Boat Flotilla HQ
ATTENTION TO ORDERS
The sinking this past month of a neutral vessel by a U-Boat, albeit not one from the 15th Flotilla, as well as the mistaken attack by the Luftwaffe on Dublin the last day of May highlight the need for vigilance in carrying out your assignments. The 15th Flotilla must not be the cause of a neutral party entering the war on the side of the British.
Issued this 2nd day of June, 1941 by order of Lucas Aus den Birken, Komodore, XO 15th U-Boat Flotilla
