Optional information for End of Patrol Report: Patrol narrative
End of Patrol Reports for May 1944 due no later than Midnight, 25 Feb 2023 your time.
Reminder: If you have a multi-month patrol, unless completing it early, submit your Patrol Report when the last month of the patrol is due.
Warning Order: The invasion of Fortress Europe is not far off (4 June 1944). While St. Nazaire remained in Nazi hands until May 1945, due to security and supply issues U-Boat operations shifted to Norway in August 1944 (‘The Hunted’ rule 4.7.1, 4.7.2). This will result in the following changes:
1) Any Boat returning from patrol in August 1944 or later, returns to Bergen, Norway.
2) Any Boat still in St. Nazaire by the end of August 1944 will have the crew transferred to a new Boat originating in Wilhelmshaven (returning to Bergen upon completion of the patrol).
3) Air Raids (‘The Hunted’ rule 4.7.6) will take place in Bergen. The Admins will adjudicate the Air Raid results.
We are now operating under “The Hunted” rules.
